The Children of Daemon’s Characters  

The adventures of the Coven take place mostly in my own country, Canada,  in the years 2000s. It was inspired by my dear friends Karine and Yan, and also a few boring hours in a psychological class. Thanks to Mario for his constructive critics and funny ideas.

Active Characters

Agata Girard Brimar’s 1st victim. Lauriane Caron’s mother. She worked in a factory.

Asphodel Satan’s daughter and second in command. She wants to overthrow Daemon and invade Earth with her army of demons and evil creatures. Beautiful woman, short horns, bright red hair, sexy.

Audrey Ford Fallen angel known as Lady of the Blood Tear. She was born in New York. Her drunken father used to beat her. She ran away from home when she was 13 after her mother died and became friend with  Jade. She is always looking for thrills and adventures. She has a gift for getting in trouble. She loves to argue with Mildred to make her angry. She lacks respect for her peers.  

Ayslinn Verbrugen Fallen angel known as Lady of the Green Stone. German woman born in Halifax. She is always hanging out with Sudia and Jade.

Bahia Rakel Elemental witch of fire. She was born in Morondava, Madagascar. She can turn into a phoenix or a salamander. She has a sparky temper. She is an eternal teenager.

Baron Samedi Voodoo spirit hanging around cemeteries. Prankster.

Brimar von Molitor Vampire on a quest to free his former master from Izaca. He is from Debrecen, Hungary. He grew fond of Audrey whom he took under his wing. He has the ability to soar for short periods of time.

Bundi Kapungu Utando’s sidekick. Assassin. He was kicked out of his tribe and hired by Utando. He usually stabs his opponents in the back. Rat-like face, Bantu man, nervous attitude.

Dr. Butcher Mad scientist, Leader of the Butcher’s Clan. His real name is Arnold Penthreat. He was born in Rzeszow, Poland. He earned the nickname Dr. Butcher from his sadistic experiments on all kinds of creatures, even humans. He discovered that magic could bring him many great opportunities. He traveled all around the world contacting dark wizards. He fought the Coven before but escaped. Tortures turn him on. His goal of the moment is to create a Golem. Ugly, he looks like a toad with big puffy cheeks, greased hair, popping eyes.

Caitria Gallagher Fallen angel known as Lady of the White Fox. She was born in Halifax.

Caswallawn Gaelic God. He has an invisibilty cloak. He causes calamities. He is a trickster.

Cernunnos Celtic God of Witches, Power and Knowledge. He lives in Mag Mor, the Celtic Otherworld. Muscular and tanned upper body, deer’s legs, large antlers, long brown hair, cold and severe features, carried a long heavy spear in his right hand.

Christel O’Dowd Fallen angel known as Lady of the Pink Orchid. Mildred’ cousin. She grew up with Mildred on the southern shore of Quebec City. She likes shopping, gossiping and partying. As a fallen angel she can travel through time and space. Golden hair, brown eyes, as tall as Mildred.

Daemon Demon, Master of the Covens (9 covens around the world), Guardian of the Gates of Hell. He loves Mary Lee MacHugen. Very strong tanned man, very tall, pale brown hair, silver eyes, twisted horns on his head, large black feather wings.

Daniel Parent Brimar’s 5th victim. Teenager.

Deirdre Neill Fallen angel known as Lady of the Silver Star. Empath. She was born in Edmonton. She is the most sensitive angel of the coven.

Diana Jones Fallen angel known as Lady of the Grey Ghost. She was born in Toronto.

Elzaga Njuu Maasai dream interpreter. Melzack’s daughter. Ryma’s friend. She grew up in the shadow of Lengai in a village of Tanzania. Thin and tall African woman, long brown hair tressed with white beads, bright brown eyes, long muscled limbs.  

Emona Sabmi de Kemro Lady Wolf under the enchantment of her grand-father’s artefact. Rich grand-daughter of a tomb robber. She lives in Whitehorse, Yukon. Ginger hair, tall, strongly built, green eyes.

Ephippas Arabian Wind Demon.

Eric Cort Brimar’s 3rd victim. Drug dealer in his 20s with a long criminal record.

Erinyes Furies of Ancient Mythology. They represent a certain kind of justice. Alecto is known as the unceasing, Megaera deals in hatred and jealousy, and Tisiphone avenges murders.

Fairy Queen Queen of the Fairies, she has no name. She likes to dance in the woods at dusk and dawn with her fairy folks. She prefers to dwell on the Hill of Tara in Ireland.

Gwydion Welsh God. Mystic magician and bard. He holds the secrets of magic.

Hephaistos Greek God of Smiths always bent on his forge.

Ian Donagh Mildred’s high school best friend and amateur vampire hunter. He was born in Frederickton, New Brunswick, but moved to Levis when he was young. After his sister was killed by a vampire, Ian turned to magic to seek vengeance. It was through him that Mildred discovered the coven’s existence. He often puts himself into difficult, and even dangerous, situations. Tall, brown hair and eyes, pink cheeks, dimples when he smiles.

Jade Soucy Fallen angel known as Lady of the Black Rose. She was born in New York in a rich family. She became friend with Audrey and ran away. She followed her friend Audrey into the coven. She is gentle and shy, but there is a hidden strength in her that Mildred felt at first sight.

Lieutenant Mario Jalbert Homicide chief inspector in Montreal. Catching criminals is his religion. He is divorced and cynical. He takes his job seriously, but can be a real clown among his friends. He is annoyed by the reporters swarming like flies around crime scenes. He likes chewing gum to erase the stench of corpses.

Jonathan Petit Brimar’s 7th victim. Teenager.

Julia Martin Brimar’s 4th victim. Teenager.

Karen Gregor Fallen angel known as Lady of the Golden Tiger. She was born in Moncton, New Brunswick.

Keiko Ohaka Emona’s faithful servant. She is clairvoyant. She considers everything suspect. Hag, small and short, crooked smile.

Kevin Morris Brimar’s 6th victim. Teenager.

Kira Leveno Elemental witch of earth. She was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She can turn into a wolf.

Lauriane Caron Brimar’s 2nd victim. French school teacher. Agata Girard’s daughter.

Lindsay Sanders Witch working for the Butcher’s Clan. She has always been attracted to the dark side. She likes to collect strange magical artefacts, mostly black magic. Pretty, short copper hair, blue-green eyes.

Liza Wapajo Fallen angel known as Lady of the Bronze Lion. She turned to the Coven to escape the criminal atmosphere of her neighborhood. Spanish woman born in Vancouver, British Columbia. She plays music in an underground band.

Louis Bertrand Brimar’s 8th victim. Customer of the Tristiana Bar.

Lucifer Demon, also known as the Prince of Darkness. He has a long history of fights against Daemon’s angels. He is flashy and reckless. He likes playing cruel tricks on humans and staring in the mirror. He has a strange attraction for Mildred. Handsome in his human form, tall, blond hair, blue eyes, always well dressed. Sometimes he has dark red feather wings.

Lugh Celtic Warrior God.

Mahalia Copel Elemental witch of water. She was born in Auckland, New Zealand. She has a short fuse. She can turn into a snake or a dolphin.

Mahro Katsuly Vampire. He was born many centuries ago in Darhan, Mongolia, at the time of Kublai Khan. Brimar’s former master. He was sent to Izaca for eternity.

Mary Lee MacHugen Fallen angel known as Lady of the Black Tear. She is also the leader of the Coven and Daemon’s Mistress. She was born in Dublin, Ireland. She had a troubled youth and ran away from her family when she became a fallen angel. She mostly hangs out with Mildred and Meaghan. The coven is the most important thing in her life except Daemon. Long brown hair, brown eyes, middle height, gentle face, black retractable bat wings.

Maybel P. Hansen Elemental witch of black magic or the night. Leader of the elemental witches. She was born in Sligo, Ireland. She can turn into any kind of mythical creature, but her favourite form is a silver dragon. She controls dreams and nightmares.

Meaghan Slater Fallen angel known as Lady of the Red Rose, youngest in the coven. She was born in Ottawa, Ontario. She follows Mary Lee and Mildred around. She likes to wander. She is afraid of corpses.

Melisande Seisha Elemental white witch of air. She was born in Borneo, Indonesia. She can turn into any bird but she favors nightingale or crane.

Mildred O’Dowd Fallen angel known as Lady of the Blue Dragon. She later became leader of the Coven after Mary Lee’s death. Christel’s cousin. She chose to be a fallen angel to flee her unstable life and fight the forces of evil. She was born in Levis, Quebec. She grew up with her cousin Christel. She knew Ian in high school. She kept contact with her family. She likes to party or go to the movies with her cousin and her friends. She was very attached to Mary Lee and Meaghan. She is afraid to lose other angels. Long black hair, emerald green eyes, tall, black retractable bat wings. She has 2 tattoos : a blue dragon on her back and her celtic chain around her upper left arm.

Moirai Fates in Ancient Mythology are in charge of the threads of life of every living being. They are the past, the present and the future. Klotho spins the threads, Lakhesis measures them and Atropos cuts them.

Moreg Sullivan Fallen angel known as Lady of the Violet Moon. She was born in Detroit. Black hair, green eyes.

Nomi O’Hara Fallen angel known as Lady of the Fire Drake. She was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland. She eases tensions among the angels of the coven. Short blond hair, blue-green eyes.

Ryma Artist. Mildred and Mary Lee’s friend. He met them in London while he was studying arts. His real name is Omari Malulu, Ryma is his artistic nom de plume. He was born in Tanga, Tanzania and traveled in most of Europe and America. He likes to tease Mildred and make sculptures. Much taller than Mildred, ebony skin, strongly built, pearly smile, shaved head.

Sudia Lindemann Fallen angel known as Lady of the Red Sun. She was born in Zurich and moved to Quebec in the last ten years. She likes to hang out with Ayslinn and Jade.

Taian Gao Emona’s driver and faithful servant. Thin old man, ash-gray skin, looks like a starved Sharpei, dark eyes, bald, not very talkative.

Utando Orla Sorcerer who calls himself the Shadow Thief. He steals the essence of life and the powers of magical creatures.

Vera Schwarz Young mercenary working for the Butcher’s Clan. She works for the highest bidder. She is german, but she grew up in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The rest is unknown. She often plays with her knife. Ugly, brown rasta locks, missing teeth, large scar from her left eyebrow to her cheek.

Yoko Lynh Fallen angel known as Lady of the Yellow Snake. Japanese woman born in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Mr. Zed Powerful sorcerer working for the Butcher’s Clan. He decided long ago to work with Dr. Butcher and has stick with him ever since. His real name is Isaac Zell. No one knows where he comes from. He often paces and mutters incantations. Old, bald, wears an ugly blond wig.  

Passive Characters

Aradia Roman Goddess of witches who teaches magic.    

Azrael Angel of Death.  

Beelzebub Demon Lord of the flies.  

Belial Demon of Lust. Satan’s most important demon.  

Camael God of War invoked for divine justice.  

Chimala Chayna Voodoo witch. She has been vanquished by the Coven many years before.

Iblis Persian or Arabian equivalent of Satan.  

Kali Hindu Goddess, unversal destructive force.

Legba Voodoo spirit. He stands at spiritual crossroads and gives or denies permission to speak with the spirits. He opens and closes the doorway. Also called Papa Legba.

Lilith Satan's bride, demon of the night who flies about searching for newborn children.

Melzack Laibon or chief of the Maasai village. Elzaga’s father.

Nasargiel Lion-headed good angel who rules Hell. Daemon’s boss.

Sekhmet Egyptian Goddess of power and fire who protects against evil forces.

Tannus God of Thunder. He represents fire, energy, power, lost of control, rage, anger, passions, strength, will.

Xaphan Apostate angel who attempted to set Heaven in fire. He feeds the fires of Hell.
